Surrey Downs CCG will be holding three public events to present the scope of the review of services delivered from the community hospital sites, as well as a timetable for patient and public involvement throughout the process.

These events will take place on:

•          Monday 2 March, 2-4pm at Bourne Hall, Spring Street, Ewell

•          Wednesday 4 March, 7-9pm at Council Chamber, Elmbridge Civic Centre, High Street, Esher

•          Thursday 5 March, 7-9pm at Burford Bridge Hotel, Dorking

James Blythe, Director of Commissioning and Strategy, said: “Over the last year there have been a number of changes to community hospital provision in the CCG area, and we believe that the time is now right to carry out a comprehensive review of these services.

“Inpatient care, diagnostic services, ambulatory care, and outpatient services will all be within the scope of this review, which we intend to begin in March of this year and to complete by the end of July.

“Our community services will be critical in improving care for our patients as we address the increasingly complex healthcare needs of our population.

“We are keen to listen to residents during the review, and I would encourage anyone who’s interested in local healthcare to join us at a launch event to hear about how they can get involved.”
